Early Head Start (EHS) is a federally funded program for pregnant women and children birth to age three serving low-income families living in Payne, Lincoln, and Logan County. Early Head Start provides comprehensive services in the areas of education, health, mental health, nutrition, disabilities, and parent involvement. The Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma Child Care Program is operated and funded through Administration of Children and Families. Child Care offers services to children 6 weeks of age to 3rd grade. The program provides comprehensive services and promotes physical, cognitive, social and emotional development for children six weeks through 3rd grade with safe and nurturing practice. Children are also provided nutritious meals and snacks..
